About the Event

DIGITAL ADDICTION WORKSHOP By MindChamp in association with Crispminds

Technology negatively impacts kids if they spend a lot of time on screens that they skimp on eating, sleeping, doing their homework, or spending time with friends and families. Research suggests that heavy social media use can also be a risk factor for anxiety and depression in teenagers.

During the pandemic, kids had to rely majorly on technology for school work and play. Technology though extremely important in today's age, the negative effects on children’s health run the gamut from increased risk of obesity to loss of social skills and behavioral problems. Of course, this doesn’t mean parents need to ban technology entirely, but it’s important for parents to be aware of the potential effects of technology on children and develop strategies to limit their children’s screen time.

MindChamp is arranging a digital addiction workshop for all the parents in association with Crispminds. In the workshop Coach will talk about Digital Addiction in Children and Parents - problem, impacts and remedies.

This workshop is specifically for the parents who want to get their kids off digital addiction.

The coach, Dipti Gala is a Conscious Parenting Coach, Leadership Coach and a Certified Counsellor & Landmark Curriculum. She is the Founder at Confident-U (child enrichment and parenting) & a panelist at Crispminds.

Crispminds is India’s first parent learning platform focused on helping parents upskill and de-stress. There are multiple instances in a parents daily life where they face decisions related to their child's behaviour, habits and future.  We are bridging this information gap via easy access to experts and specially designed learnings.
